SlumberPal helps young children settle at bedtime with a calm animated pal on the bedroom tablet. Six stars go out one by one while the child falls asleep; when the sun comes up, the pal shows it is OK to get up. Parents set the sleep times, sounds and activities from their own phone. The child’s screen has no adverts, no purchases and no links out, and children are named by first name only.
