About SlumberPal
SlumberPal is a toddler sleep clock that runs on a tablet or phone a family already owns. At bedtime the child’s pal settles down and six stars glow; they go out one by one through the night, and when the sun comes up the pal shows it is OK to get up. Parents set the times, the sounds and the activities from their own phone.
Why we made it
Most families who want a sleep clock already have a tablet in a drawer, and most sleep clocks ask a two-year-old to read a colour or a number. We wanted a clock a small child could understand at a glance, a bedtime companion they would be glad to see, and nothing to buy. The stars and the sunrise came first; the pal, the sounds and the gentle activities followed from what parents told us they wanted at bedtime.
The rules we keep
- Nothing on the child’s screen but the pal. No adverts, no purchases, no prices and no links out. The grown-up controls sit behind a PIN.
- First names only. A child is known to SlumberPal by a first name and nothing else. Deleting a child, a pal or your account is done from the app, and is usually complete within 24 hours and always within 30 days.
- Calm by design. A dark, still night scene, as bright as you set it, with quiet sounds under a volume cap you can lower.
- Honest claims. Every claim on this site comes from what the app does, as its own help articles describe it. The parent guides say where their advice comes from and when they were last updated; see how we write our guides.
- This website measures nothing unless you say yes, and never tracks you across other sites. See cookies and analytics.
Who we are
SlumberPal is made by Slumber Pal Ltd, a company registered in Northern Ireland (company number NI744994). Our registered office is 1 Lyndhurst Road, Londonderry, BT47 5HS, United Kingdom.
The app is available in every country where Google Play and the App Store list it, except the United States, in English. Android tablets and phones come first; iPad is coming.
